If you are looking for drive-in movie theaters the Toledo area has two! The Field of Dreams Drive-In located in Liberty Center, Ohio, as well as the Sundance Drive-In located in Oregon, Ohio. Both drive-in movie theaters boast dual screens with double features that run weekend evenings throughout the summer.

Located at V602 Township Road 6 in Liberty Center, Field of Dreams is about thirty minutes from Toledo. They highly recommend you use directions on their website as opposed to GPS mapping. This drive-in movie theater has two screens, both with digital projection. Admission tickets can be purchased in advance here. Tickets are also available at the gate. Kids under 12 are free and ages 13+ through adults are $12 each. Or you can opt to instead pay by the carload for a maximum admission fee of $40. Sundance Drive-In Movie Theater
Located at 4500 Navarre Ave. in Oregon, the Sundance Drive-in boasts space for over 1,000 vehicles at two screens. Each screen plays a double feature every night of operation. Kids 4 and under are free, ages 5-11 years are $5 each, and 12+ through adults are $10 each.

Drive-in Movie Theaters – What to Bring?
The Field of Dreams Drive-In recommends movie goers bring a flashlight to help navigate from your vehicle to the restrooms or concessions. Bring folding or camp chairs if you wish to watch the movie outside your vehicle. If you take this option, they suggest you bring bug spray and a blanket or sweatshirt. You will also need a portable FM radio if sitting outside your car to tune in and listen to the films. Dogs on leashes are also welcome at Filed of Dreams.

The End of an Era for Sundance Drive-In
2022 is likely to be last and final year of this drive-in that has been in operation in one form or another since 1979. The land is for sale and lease for the theater space is nonrenewable. Sundance says “even though this season could likely mean the end of an era, we don’t plan to just let her fade off into the sunset. We’ve got plans to celebrate The Sundance all season long and we hope to see your family during our celebration, taking part in a classic experience one last time.”
