Drive-in Movie Theaters – What to Bring?

The Field of Dreams Drive-In recommends movie goers bring a flashlight to help navigate from your vehicle to the restrooms or concessions. Bring folding or camp chairs if you wish to watch the movie outside your vehicle. If you take this option, they suggest you bring bug spray and a blanket or sweatshirt. You will also need a portable FM radio if sitting outside your car to tune in and listen to the films. Dogs on leashes are also welcome at Filed of Dreams.

Where to Park at Drive-in Movie Theaters

We recommend you visit the website of the drive-in prior to arriving so you know what to expect. Drive-in movie theaters have a system for parking vehicles based on a first come first parked basis. However, vehicles are organized into parking spaces depending on size and height. This ensures a positive viewing experience for nearly all moviegoers. Parking information can be found here for Field of Dreams, and here for Sundance.
