A Great Resource
The Toledo Lucas County Library is a great resource for Toledo area residents. The libraries offer a place for residents to utilize meeting space, public computers, educational programs, and of course, browse and borrow books and other media. Getting a library card is free and available to any Lucas Country resident. Library cards provide access to everything the Toledo Lucas County Library has to offer.
Locations, Locations
There are 20 library locations throughout Lucas County. Locations serve areas including Holland, Maumee, Oregon, Ottawa Hills, Sylvania, Toledo, and Waterville. All locations currently offer curbside pick up! Simply use their app or online catalog to request materials and you can pick up your items at your preferred location.
Programs Galore
The library has much more to offer than books. The Toledo Lucas County Library also offers a wide variety of programs for kids and adults. Activities To Go provide take home bags for kids and teens. These bags include everything needed for fun activities such as growing beans in a bag or making slime! Saturday Storytime Online offers a weekly show for kids. Each week kids can enjoy puppet shows, story telling, or a magic show! Book Groups for Fiction, Non Fiction, Mystery, Poetry, Creative Writing, Science Fiction, and more, currently meet online. Another great program that is timely now, especially as parents prepare for the start of the school year, is Countdown to Kindergarten. This program includes a readiness assessment and skills for little learners to practice at home.
