    2022 Trick or Treating Around Greater Toledo

    Halloween might be every kid’s favorite holiday because Halloween = trick or treating. Greater Toledo has no shortage of trick or treating and trunk or treat events for 2022. See below for a quick list of local events open to the public where kids can fulfill their candy collecting dreams. At the bottom you’ll find times for 2022 trick or treating around Greater Toledo.

    Sunday, Oct. 9

    • 3-6 p.m. Boo Bash Trunk or Treat at Chicago Title 3131 Executive Parkway Suite 103, Toledo

    Monday, Oct. 17

    • 5:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat at Marco’s Pizza 149 Main St., Toledo

    Wednesday, Oct. 19

    • 6-8 p.m. Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities Trunk or Treat 1154 Larc Lane, Toledo – “The Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities is excited for our first trunk and treat and we’re looking forward to a family-friendly SPOOKTACULAR event for all ages! This event offers individuals and families a safe and fun way to go trick or treating. Coffee and hot cocoa trucks for you to purchase your favorite beverages will be available. Try your luck at our technology scavenger hunt featuring vendors showcasing the latest and greatest in adaptive technology. So, put on your costume and join all your fellow ghouls and goblins us at our South Toledo headquarters!”

    • 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Little Boo Presented by Meijer at the Toledo Zoo 2 Hippo Way, Toledo “Enjoy strolling magic, pumpkin carving demonstrations, photo opportunities with popular characters, and all kinds of fun and fall festivities. Find tickets and reservations on our website.”

    Friday, Oct. 21

    • 5-7 p.m. Harvest Party at West Toledo YMCA 2110 Tremainsville Rd., Toledo “Everyone is welcome to join us for a Harvest Party! Fun will include: swimming with pumpkins, pumpkin decorating, Halloween themed games, gymnastics obstacle course, inflatable bounce house, free food, and a showing of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!”

    Saturday, Oct. 22

    • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Pumpkin Path at the Toledo Zoo 2 Hippo Way, Toledo “Trick-or-treat around your Toledo Zoo at Pumpkin Path! Enjoy magic shows, musical entertainment, strolling magic, pumpkin carving demonstrations, photo opportunities from “A Galaxy Far Far Away”, and all kinds of fun and fall festivities. Find tickets and reservations on our website.”
    • 2-4 p.m. Lucas County Canine Care & Control 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat 410 S Erie St., Toledo “Join us for our 3rd annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 22nd from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the Canine Care Center. Trick-or-Treat around the parking lot from the decorated trunks, grab a bite from one of the food trucks, snap a family photo at the photo booth, and play some games during this family friendly event. Costumes are encouraged and your furry friends are welcome as well.”


    • 4-6 p.m. First Unitarian Church of Toledo Trunk or Treat 3205 Glendale Ave., Toledo “It’s time for the annual Trunk or Treat. Dress yourself, your children, and/or your vehicle. There will be prizes for best children’s costume and best trunk. There will also be other fun and spooky children’s activities. All are welcome!”


    • 6-8 p.m. Iron Bandogs Law Enforcement, Public Safety & Military Motorcycle Club of Glass City Trunk or Treat 1785 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo “Set up a trunk or bring the kids to this free event. Safe & secure place for the kids of all ages to trick or treat. Free cotton candy, hot chocolate, apple cider & doughnuts. Hotdogs chips & pop available for purchase.”

    • 6:30-8:30 p.m. Christ Presbyterian Church Trunk or Treat Community Event 4225 S. Sylvania Ave., Toledo “All are invited to join us for our annual Trunk or Treat event. Bring the kids to gather treats, play games and enjoy some snacks! This event is Free and will be outdoors weather permitting. In case of rain, we will move the event indoors.”

    Sunday, Oct. 23

    • 12 noon Fall Fest & Candy Crawl at St. Mark Lutheran Church 611 Woodville Rd., Toledo “Join us for a Fall Fest & Candy Crawl at St. Mark & Prentice Park, sponsored by East Toledo Parish ministries! Enjoy kids’ activities, lawn games, snacks, and a Candy Crawl for some delicious Halloween treats! And – be sure to wear your Halloween costumes for the Costume Parade!”


    • 2 p.m. Fall Fest / Trunk or Treat at Victory Academy 3648 Victory Ave., Toledo “Trunk or treat, games, prizes, petting zoo etc.… all FREE. $2 for pony rides! $2 for a slice of pizza and a drink! Join us!”


    • 5 p.m. Trunk or Treat at Epworth United Methodist Church 4855 W. Central Ave., Toledo “The event takes place in our parking lot on Central Avenue from 5-7pm on October 23! Invite your friends and neighbors because this is FREE to the entire community! Wear your costumes and join us to Trunk-or-Treat for candy.”

    • 4:30-6:30 p.m. Otterbein Spooktacular at Otterbein Sunset House 4020 Indian Rd., Toledo “Festivities include: Trunk or treating, Balloon artists, Scavenger hunts, Photo booths, Hayrides”

    Thursday, Oct. 27

    • 5 p.m. Trunk or Treat hosted by Pathway for Successful Leadership, Inc. 2052 Collingwood Blvd., Toledo “Join us for our Annual Trunk or Treat Event! Bring your family and friends out for some safe Halloween fun. All ages are welcome!”


    • 5:30-7 p.m. Trunk or Treat of East Toledo Family Center at Waite High School 301 Morrison Dr., Toledo “Ages 13 & under to participate in Trunk or Treat! Located at east Broadway and Mott Ave! Rain or shine!”

    Sunday, Oct. 30

    • 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Trick Art Treat at Art on Market Shoppes 201 S. Erie St., Toledo “Come by for a safe place for kids to trick-or-treat while being able to view/purchase art & products from various local artists! Activities include trick-or-treating, pumpkin painting, candle making, & a best costume contest in the shoppes! Enter Through the Erie St. Doors or the Toledo Lamp Company.”
